Repairs Completed Today 9.15.26 at Pumphouse
September 15, 2026
Thank you to everyone for their patience the past week with changes in pressure and water quality. Colton, Seth and Matt were able to complete the numerous repairs today that have been causing issues. Pumps were worn out , a hole blew in the pressure tank, and then various other things started breaking. These are the kinds of issues that occur with such an aging system and instead of moving forward sometimes we have to invest to just keep things working. However, we never stop looking forward and even in repairs such as this week they took a bit longer so that we could make sure things were repaired correctly, with the correct parts, to hopefully prevent this same issue from happening again. Every single time our Operators go in to make a repair they find more that need to be fixed. Fixing it right and the right way is a big priority for us. Thank you again to everyone who has dealt with water quality issues during this time and we hope that it will clear up in the next day and get back to normal.
As of tonight we have 68 Income Survey's received. Tomorrow we will meet someone from Communities Unlimited and give them what we have so they can start tallying the numbers and then will meet them with additional ones that come in. Our magic number to turn in is 107 so if we don't hit that number they will be making phone calls and then will go door to door if needed.
Lastly, barring anything major our plan is to drill 2 test wells in the first weeks of October. There has been more behind the scenes legal paperwork than we ever imagined for the USDA Grant but we are close to finally drilling. We will keep you updated when we have a fixed date for go time!
Thank you,
